Carvast
Features & Advantages
Atorvastatin (Carvast) is considered a first-line treatment option for dyslipidemia, as it decreases low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides (TG) while increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Additionally, atorvastatin helps prevent cholesterol formation in the liver, stabilizes the blood vessel lining, fights inflammation, and reduces artery damage, making plaque less likely to rupture in the heart and lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Formulation
Each tablet contains:
Atorvastatin (as Calcium) | 20 mg |
Atorvastatin (as Calcium) | 40 mg |
