Loxaid
Features & Advantages
Loxaid is a potent cyclooxygenase inhibitor that blocks the formation of prostaglandins, which play a crucial role in pain and inflammatory pathways, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and joint swelling associated with various forms of arthritis and other painful conditions. Furthermore, Loxaid is ten times more selective in inhibiting COX-2 over COX-1, making it less likely to cause gastrointestinal mucosal injury compared to standard NSAIDs that inhibit both COX enzymes.
Indication
For symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in rheumatic diseases, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other degenerative joint diseases.
For the management of pain and other discomforts associated with surgery, childbirth, sports injuries, trauma, and other mild to moderate inflammatory conditions where anti-inflammatory treatment is required.
Dosage & Administration
1 tablet once daily or as prescribed by the physician
